Sharkskin
Sharkskin is finely veined, often thick and waterproof, although it still needs to be rinsed well after bathing in the sea or a pool (not recommended).
It is a very resistant semi-mat hide and is particularly suited for sports watches.
Tiger sharkskin (3.5 metres) is certainly the best known of all the fish hides used in the watchstrap industry.
The resistance of sharkskin is unequalled and it is perfectly suited for all “sports” watches, for diving and other modern or vintage aviator chronographs.
It is also the most resistant leather to UV rays and saltwater, this makes it appropriate for athletes and those who don’t take care of their watchstrap…
Sharkskin watchstraps come in a semi-mat or shiny finish.
