Stingray

Stingray  is composed of half skin (epidermis) and half mineral or ivory, in the dermis.

Its granular texture is due to minute skin cartilage, which offer a resistance to all impacts and daily use of the watchstrap.

Stingray watchstraps with a central pearl are rarer and more expensive.

Actually on galuchat skins there is only one central pearl (the small round white one in the centre of each skin).

Thus with one hide it is possible to create a dozen straps, but only one of these possesses this very coveted central pearl.
